Andor Season 2 Confirmed by Disney+ Staar
In a recent interview with the Swedish news site Dagens Nyheter, Star Wars: Andor Star Stellan Skarsgård has teased a new detail interesting about the upcoming Disney + series before the long-awaited debut at the end of this year. While talking about the schedule of filmmaking for this year, the famous actor confirmed that he was currently scheduled to start production in the second season of Star Wars which has not been announced: Andor in the fall this year after completing his work in Dunis Villeneuve Dune: the second part.
“We started with [filming Dune: Part Two] in July,” Skarsgård revealed in Swedish-speaking interviews (through comic books). “And then in the fall, it’s time for the second season of the Star Wars Andor series When asked about the potential for the release of Andor season 2, Skarsgård stated “I do not know when they will begin to broadcast it. It takes time not for too long between season one and two season.”
Disney + Andor featured Diego Luna when he repeated his evil role from Cassian Andor. Set five years before the events of Rogue One, this series will follow the adventure of the titular hero spy on Spy during the formative years of rebellion. It will explore the espionage story and a bold mission to restore hope for galaxies in the grip of cruel empire.
The new Prequel Star Wars series will also starred in Alum Franchise Genevieve O’Reilly as Mon Mothma and Alan Tudyk as the Sidekick Droid Cassian K-2SO, which is reported will not appear in the first season. It has also been rumored that the Forest Whitaker and Ben Mendelshn reportedly repeated their respective roles such as the Gerrera saw and Director of Orson Callan Krennic.
Additional cast also includes newcomers Star Wars Denise Gough, Skarsgård, Kyle Soller, and Adria Arjona Andor was an executive produced by Showrunner Tony Gilroy, who previously directed the Rogue One. Gilroy was originally expected to direct three episodes but was forced to submit a position to Toby Haynes Black Mirror because of a travel problem related to a pandemic. Production is currently underway in the UK.
