The first trailer for ‘Black Mirror’ creator Charlie Brooker’s new animated series
Netflix will premiere Cat Burglar, a new animated series, in February 2022. Although there are few details at this time, here are some first-look photographs of the upcoming animated series. On February 22nd, 2022, the new series will be available on Netflix all around the world. Along with Love is Blind Japan and RACE: Bubba Wallace, it will be released.
Netflix’s description of the new show is as follows:
“In a new series from the creators of “Black Mirror,” classic cartoon lunacy collides with an interactive quiz.
The character of Rowdy will be voiced by James Adomian. Adomian is most known for his stand-up humor and performances on Comedy Bang! Bang! and other shows. He’s also renowned for voicing characters on Netflix’s Hoops, Bojack Horseman, and Inside Job, among other episodes. Duncanville, Close Enough, Harley Quinn, and Pig Goat Banana Cricket are among the shows he has voiced.
According to reports, Alan Lee has agreed to voice Peanut in the upcoming show. He is most recognized for his dubbing and voice acting. He did dubs for Squid Game and Aldnoah, for example. Nowhere Man, Zero, and Illang: The Wolf Brigade.
Following their departure from Endemol Shine Firm in 2020, Black Mirror founders Charlie Brooker and Annabel Jones established their own company, Broke and Bones.
So far, three games have been released in addition to Broke & Bones, including Death to 2020 and its sequel Death to 2021. In 2021, they also launched the Rob Lowe-led docu-series Attack of the Hollywood Cliches! They’re also working on Cunk on Earth, which will premiere on Netflix worldwide in 2022 and on the BBC in the United Kingdom.
As we previously stated, Black Mirror appears to be on indefinite pause, while a spin-off based on the USS Callister is reported to be in the works.
Cat Burglar isn’t the only upcoming animated series in February 2022 with a retro aesthetic. In February 2022, The Cuphead Show!, based on the video game, will be released.
