US renews Pak engagement, spoils Russian party

The resurrection of diplomatic-military relations between the US and Pakistan after State Secretary Antony Blinken called on Foreign Minister Bilawal Zardari this week was a serious damper of Russia’s efforts to foster Islamabad during the Rulted Imran Niazi regime. While the Secretary of Blinken had called for a broad -based relationship with Pakistan and invited Zardari for the UN Food Security Meeting on May 18, it was known that the Pentagon had also reopened the military communication channel with Rawalpindi GHQ and the Head of the Army Qamar Jawed Bajwa.

The new dialogue between the US and Pakistan after the former Niazi Prime Minister worsened bilateral relations in favor of Russia and China’s strategic plan Nixes Moscow to involve Islamabad at America and Indian costs. Although India maintains a balance over its relationship with Russia, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov visited Islamabad in April, 2021 and promised to supply more special military equipment such as Helicopter MI-35M and MI-17 in the past to Pakistan on behalf of fighting terrorism. Russia has also carried out a bilateral special forces called Druzba (friendship) since 2016 and maritime training in the Arabian Sea called Arabic Monsoon.

That Pakistan and Russia wanted to deepen relations to be clear when the Prime Minister Niazi at that time landed in Moscow to meet President Vladimir Putin on February 24, 2022, Moscow’s Day invaded Ukraine. Niazi as a PM is very critical of the administration of Biden Joe because it does not involve Islamabad in Afghanistan, keeping Pakistan from the Democratic Conference after he praised the occupation of the Taliban in Kabul August 1521, and called it the liberation of Afghanistan from the shackles of slavery. The overthrowed PM also criticized the European Union after the latter showed the Islamabad who distanced itself from Unga’s voting regarding suspending Russia from the Human Rights Security Council.

While New Delhi witnessed developments in the AF-PAK region, the main reason for America for Pakistani’s new involvement was because the emergence of Al Qaeda in the hardcore Islamic Taliban regime in Afghanistan neighboring countries. The Taliban never denying the Global Al Qaeda terrorist group but opposed what is called the Islamic State of the Khorasan Province (ISKP), which continues to develop across the Khyber Pass in Afghanistan. Another goal for involvement is also to fight China’s footprints that develop in the AF-PAK region with a shadow in the Persian Gulf region which is rich in hydrocarbons.

Althouugh no one has seen the Taliban’s Supreme Leader Haabatullah Akundzada for nearly a year, the Islamist regime latest dictates on Afghan Women Clearly Indicates that there is no change in the Taliban’s ultra-orthodox .The fact is that Afghanistan is only a recording called the highest leader, while Akhundzada is not visible and the struggle for power between Pak who is sponsored by the haqqani network and traditional Taliban based in Kandahar led by Mullah Yaqub still exists, with almost no government in it called Emirates Islam. The rise of ultra-Islamic fundamentalism in Afghanistan and spills to Pakistan not only pose a national security threat to India but also the world.
