China releases world’s ‘most detailed’ map of Moon
China has released a new comprehensive geological map of the moon, “Most detailed” to date, which is expected to make a vital contribution to scientific research, exploration and selection of landing locations in one -one natural satellite.Chinese scientists from various research institutions and universities have created high resolution topographic maps based on data from the China Lunar Chang’e project and data findings and other research from international organizations, Chinese Global Television Networks (CGTN) managed by the government on Wednesday on Wednesday on Wednesday .
The new comprehensive geological map of the month is a scale of 1: 2,500,000, “the most detailed to date,” said the report.This map includes 12,341 impact crater, 81 impact basin, 17 types of rocks and 14 types of structures, providing abundant information about the geology of the moon and its evolution.
