Boston Students To Hear From NASA, ESA Astronauts Aboard Space Station
Massachusetts students will have the opportunity this week to hear from crew members at the International Space Station, including NASA astronauts. Bumi-to-space calls will air at 12:10 at night. EDT Wednesday, July 20, on NASA television, NASA application, and agency website.
Astronaut graduates and Boston University Bob Hines, along with ESA (European Space Agency) Astronaut Samantha Cristoforetti, will answer the previous recorded questions from local students. Participants including students of Boston University and Boston University, as well as students from the K-12 outreach program, such as the calculus project, Alexander Twilight Academy, and to the top are bound from a larger Boston region. K-12 students will tour the University Stem Facilities, attend presentations related to space, participate in direct activities, and attend the event.

Connecting students directly to astronauts above space station provides unique and authentic experiences designed to improve student learning, performance, and interest in STEM. Astronauts who live in space in laboratories that orbit communicate with NASA mission control centers in Houston 24 hours a day through near the tracking of the nearby room network and data relay satellite (TDR).
For more than 21 years, astronauts continue to live and work on space stations, test technology, conduct science, and develop the skills needed to explore further from the earth. Through the Artemis NASA program, this agency will send astronauts to the moon, with the ultimately human exploration of Mars. Inspiring the next generation of explorers – Artemis generation – ensuring America will continue to lead in exploration and discovery of space.
