10 Pakistani soldiers killed as terrorists attack checkpost in Balochistan province

Ten Pakistani dogfaces were killed when terrorists attacked a security forces’checkpost in Kech quarter of the restive southwestern Balochistan fiefdom, the army said on Thursday In a statement, theInter-Services Public Relations (ISPR)-the media sect of the military- said that the” fire raid”by terrorists passed on the night of January 25-26.

During violent exchange of fire, 10 dogfaces were killed, it said, adding that one terrorist was killed and several others injured in the incident.

Three terrorists had been restrained in the follow-up concurrence operation, itsaid.Balochistan, skirting Iran and Afghanistan, is home to a long- running violent insurrection. On January 21, Pakistan Army principal Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa reiterated the resoluteness of the Army to fight against terrorism till its elimination from the country, Dawn review reported Gen Bajwa pledged that offerings of those killed would not go in vain and “ complete peace will return to Pakistan” ” Fortified forces are determined to exclude terrorists from our soil no matter what the cost,”the statement added.

No group so far claimed responsibility for the attack.
